Reno High grad Michael Weiss is building momentum for his shot to swim in the London Summer Games. The University of Wisconsin junior won a pair of events at the recent Mutual of Omaha Swimvitational.
Weiss won the 400 meter individual medley and the 400 meter freestyle in one of the top “dry run” events for the Olympic Trials. Weiss also finished second in the 200 meter individual medley.
The U.S. Olympic Trials take place June 25 – July 2 at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
