Signups are available for the Silver State Youth Track and field competition to be held June 29and 30 at Damonte Ranch High School in Reno. The competitions are part of the Reno Tahoe Winter Games Coalition’s ongoing mission to promote the Olympic Movement throughout the region. Reno-Tahoe Athletics is co-hosting the competition.
Events for both boys and girls will be held from the U8 to age 18 divisions. Events begin at 9 a.m. on both days. Competitors from teams representing northern Nevada and northern California are expected to compete. Athletes not attached to a team are welcome to sign up individually. Medals are awarded in all divisions.
